<p>Quality is a word that you hear so often but it frequently lacks real substance because of the varying definitions that most people seem to have. Quality is subjective, relying upon many factors from one’s life experiences to their very interpretation of the word. Quality has many definitions and degrees of excellence, spanning a wide range of examples. What does it mean then to drive and deliver quality in Service Management?</p>
<p>To truly deliver quality service, organizations need quality people with the right skills; quality processes based on best practices that align with business needs; quality technology to enable those processes; quality assurance program to inspect the processes and results; and quality metrics to measure success.</p>
<p>This one-day workshop, presented by the renowned Malcolm Fry, is a fun, informative, and productive learning experience about the Power of Quality. The workshop contains a series of breakout opportunities that allow for networking and collaborative learning. Course participants will receive a questionnaire used to track required items for a new service that is to be implemented and supported by the Service Desk.</p>

<li>Create sensible Service Acceptance processes; service pipeline, service catalog and service retired</li>

<p>Learn about the importance of one score &#8211; one team, multiple &#8220;languages&#8221; &#8211; one goal by cultivating a framework for establishing a cohesive leadership team allowing for business &#8212; IT alignment.  Using an organization health approach, we can build and maintain a cohesive leadership team, establishing clarity, communicating that clarity and putting in place just enough structure to reinforce that clarity.  An organization is healthy when it is whole, consistent, and complete and when its management, operations and culture are unified.</p>

<p>Scott Rose is retired from IBM as a Delivery Executive with 30 years experience in the IT Industry.  After spending 6 years in the US Navy, his 28 year career with IBM has extended from hardware design and engineering to software and services including Software/Hardware Development, Systems Integration, Logistics, Manufacturing, Training/Consulting, Transition/Transformation, Service Management and Project/Program Management.  Scott received his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification after completing the George Washington Masters program in 1997, attained IBM’s Executive Project Management certification, served on IBM’s Project Management Certification Board for 8 years and has taught project management during that time.  Scott has a degree in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Business Management.  He is certified as an ITIL v2 Service Manager, v3 Expert and is accredited as a trainer for all ITIL certifications.  During his IBM years, Scott led many large and global IT outsourcing contracts, providing Executive leadership in all aspects of Service Management including organization/people management, transition, operations, supplier management, training, financial and security management.  Since IBM, he enjoys training and coaching service management, provides IT assessments, gap analysis, strategic plans and conducts organizational health workshops aligning IT with the business.  Scott loves working with people, is active as a youth coordinator at his hometown church and conducts seminars related to youth and parenting.</p>
