How often do you experience communication issues or frustrations with other teams you work with or perhaps within your own teams? We will discuss how to improve communications and improve inter-team relationships as a result.
The morning session will consist of two speakers and a networking break. You will gain an understanding of how to focus on the issues at hand and not the dynamics of people or emotions. Our subject matter expert Kerry Ahrend will point out some of the communication challenges that we face on a daily basis and how to address each situation differently. We will also have a session on Crucial Conversations which shows you how to improve communications when the stakes are high, when emotions are high or when you need to achieve a goal as a result of the conversation. You will learn how to keep all parties engaged in open dialogue so that you will be able to have a more successful outcome.

Due to scheduling and unforeseen events, regrettably we have had to cancel the TriHDI meeting scheduled for April 3rd. With the HDI national conference at the end of the month, April 24-27, in Orlando FL, there isn’t a window to reschedule in April. We will reschedule the topic for a meeting later in the year. The next schedule meeting is now Jun 5th.
As President, I would like to assure you this is only a minor setback, we will work very hard to make this meeting up later in the year. Please continue to reach out to myself or any of the chapter officers with your ideas and desires for meeting content. My continued vision and top priority is to make TriHDI a first class chapter that caters to its memberships desires as much as possible. In our first year 2011, you the members have chosen to vote TriHDI into the 2011 Circle of Excellence President’s Circle of HDI local chapters. TriHDI was one of only 25 local chapters to receive this honor from its membership, for this my officers and I, want to say thank you!! We take this as a huge vote of confidents from you that our meetings have provided good content and value. We want to continue to fulfill the same role for 2012 and look forward to bringing you many more quality programs throughout 2012.
Please stay tuned to our website www.trihdi.com and be on the lookout for our email updates in the near future.
Sincerely,
John Pierce
President TriHDI
